Mayne Island Resort

Having attended the recent Mediterranean Brunch at the Arbutus Grill, I can tell you it was fantastic! Every dish thoughtfully prepared & delicious! Can't wait for Chef Oren to host again. The fish n chips Tuesdays in December were also a nice treat. Keep up the good work!

I recently attended the 'Big Brunch Event: Mediterranean Style Brunch with Chef Oren Morad' at The Arbutus Grill at the Mayne Island Resort. This was a spectacular feast and we literally moaned with every bite. Everything was outstanding. It was a genuine treat to enjoy such a high level of fine cuisine. Every dish was a knockout, crafted with such care. The dining space was beautiful, with not a single detail missed. I truly look forward to the next time. Thank you, Janice and Daryll. And bravo, Chef Oren.

We recently attended both the Xmas dinner and the Mediterranean Brunch at the Arbutus Restaurant at the Mayne Island Resort. Xmas dinner had more than adequate portions of turkey and ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and mixed vegies and was delicious with many compliments to the chef. The Mediteranean brunch was catered by five star chef Oren Morand who has over 20 years of experience in leading restaurants across Europe. Ten or more hot and cold dishes were served and everything was exceptional and the price was more reasonable. We highly recommend attending their next event,

We have come to this beautiful resort several times and it just keeps on getting better and better! The location is perfect and Mayne island is by far the best island to visit. The staff is outstanding and always do whatever they can to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they can. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the beds are luxurious, the views are spectacular. The restaurant is closed but the food from the Nook is super and makes it so convenient while you are staying to order food / meals by 5pm day before to collect the next day - perfectly heated and delicious... highly recommend the Thai Chicken soup, chilli cornbread to die for!!! The spotless indoor pool and hot tub are the cherry on top of a perfect vacation. We cant wait to come back for 3 days at New Year's!

This resort is gorgeous. We had an incredible weekend staying here. Great value for money, the view from our place was amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only room for improvement would have been having a floor length mirror in the bedroom, there was only the one bathroom mirror in our 2 bedroom place which made it difficult to get ready for the wedding we were attending. And screens on the windows would have been great. Having the window open at night let all the bugs in. Otherwise a beautiful, clean and spacious cottage and we had the best time here.

We had a great few days staying at the resort. Didn't get to use the hot tub or pool but it looked welcoming. Very peaceful and you could walk to a few different beach access spots. Has a large dock on the site also.

My wife Kim and I had an amazing weekend at Mayne Island Resort. Beautiful ocean views, peaceful setting, and super clean, comfy rooms. We hiked, cycled, checked out the market, and just enjoyed being outdoors. Everything felt relaxed and easy — exactly what we needed for a little escape. A beautiful and peaceful getaway for sure! Was above and beyond what we hoped for!!!! The staff were friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and decent but could have used a bit more furniture like an armoir and more chairs - one chair and end table for 2 people not enough. The patio had more furniture ! LOL! :-) The shower was decent but the door was incorrectly aligned and not sealed, resulting in a lot of water pooling on the floor.
